Regional Launch of the JPS – February 16

Enroll for the activity

February 16 marks the launch of the 9th edition of the Days of Perseverance in Laval, with a strong and timely theme: well-being.

For this launch event, we will open the conversation on this theme with youth, parents, and professionals to further explore well-being and better understand its links to educational pathways and the everyday realities of young people in Laval.

In partnership with the CISSS of Laval, key findings from the Quebec Survey on the Health of Secondary School Students (QHSSS) will be presented—an opportunity to reflect together on well-being and potential pathways for action.

Why take part in the launch?

Naturally, the link between educational success and well-being does not always emerge first in practice. Yet, individual well-being is a key determinant of school perseverance and educational success for students and learners of all ages.

This morning event offers you the opportunity to:

  • Contribute to a shared understanding of well-being;
  • Attend a presentation of key findings from the Quebec Survey on the Health of Secondary School Students;
  • Hear diverse perspectives on this topic;
  • Strengthen the connection between well-being, a holistic health approach, and school perseverance.

Location: Centre Simonne-Monet-Chartrand, 3700 Notre-Dame Boulevard, Laval, QC H7V 1R4
