Promoting educational success and perseverance: always essential

Born 21 years ago in Montérégie, Hooked on School Days (HSD) has evolved into a national movement over time. The Montreal edition, coordinated by Réseau réussite Montréal (RRM), will celebrate its 15th edition in 2025.

In fact, 18 regional coordination bodies across Quebec – including RRM – now unite their communities during the third week of February around school perseverance and educational success.

An annual awareness and mobilization event, HSD offers a pan-Quebec platform that encourages and celebrates the motivations and aspirations of young people – from the youngest to the oldest – while recognizing the essential contributions of those who support them.

HSD is an opportunity to:

  • Raise awareness across society about the importance of school perseverance.
  • Highlight the commitment of those who work, directly or indirectly, toward the educational success of young people.
  • Recognize the actions taken by everyone to promote school perseverance.
  • Raise awareness of issues related to educational success – including, for RRM, the specific challenges in Montreal.
  • But most of all... it's a moment to pause and celebrate the journeys of our young people, congratulate them for their efforts, and encourage them!
