What is IRC-CN ?

The Instance régionale de concertation de la Capitale-Nationale (IRC-CN) aims to promote school perseverance and educational success throughout the administrative region of the Capitale-Nationale. This includes the territory of several regional county municipalities (Portneuf, Jacques-Cartier, Côte-de-Beaupré, Charlevoix, Charlevoix-Est, Île-d’Orléans) and, of course, that of the urban community of Québec.

Vision 

Implement targeted and concrete concerted actions with the potential to have a significant impact on school perseverance and educational success in the communities and measure their impact.

• Foster collaboration which, at the heart of actions, encourages the sharing of expertise, the search for solutions and the implementation of concerted actions.
• Demonstrate rigor, taking into account scientific research and promising practices.
• Have respect for the culture of each organization.

• Support actors in educational settings in the deployment of quality interventions.
• Strengthen collaborative ties between professionals in educational childcare settings, community stakeholders, public library staff and school staff.
• Accompany partners in the territory to act on school perseverance and educational success. 

The IRC-CN mobilizes, brings together and engages community stakeholders in order to implement concerted actions, oriented towards a common goal: to promote school perseverance and the educational success of young people.

Establish and support a culture of collaboration between organizations and actors in the region working to promote education and educational success.
