A first Webinar offered as part of the HSD: Dominique Morneau

A truly unexpected invitation!

Complice persévérance scolaire Gaspésie-Les Îles is pleased to offer you the opportunity to attend free virtual training with Dominique Morneau, organizational psychologist. The training aims to develop each one's abilities of positively influencing young people towards change and independance.

Note that the training is given in French. Any bilingual English speaker is strongly encouraged to register.

Influencing: Part I
Breaking the shell and freeing the fairy

Target audience
Any intervenant from primary or secondary schools, college, community, organizations, municipal and labor market environments.

Description of the training
You are curious to look at influence from a different perspective? The content presented will allow you to be informed and practice applying communication strategies that will push forward influence among young people, without you having to spend too much time and without provoking resistance. The strategies taught will also promote the mobilization and empowerment of young people.

Training aims
At the end of the training, you will be able to:
- To evaluate and develop your skills in influencing young people.
- To evaluate and develop your skills in dealing with the ambivalence of young people.

Training content
- Position of influence: follow, lead and guide.
- The interdependance between thoughts and actions.
- The change discourse and the strategies to evoke it.

Dominique Morneau holds a master's degree in social work as well as a master's degree and a doctorate in organizational psychology from the University of Sherbrooke. He has worked in the field of organizational development since 2000. He has carried out various mandates relating to organizational diagnostics, conflict resolution and work team consolidation. He has also designed and led several training programs as well as several conferences, in addition to teaching at Laval University and at the National School of Public Administration (ENAP).
