Have a Heart Activity

This is an Indigenous awareness day activity held on February 14th that we are including in our Hooked on School Days programming. We will have a Valentine card that students can colour (or they can make their own). We will make these available in classes for teachers to give to students as well as have them available in the library all week. This is in order to ensure we get as much participation as possible. We will collect finished cards in the library. As we did last year, we will mail all the cards\Valentines to the Prime Minister's office to help support the rights of Indigenous children. For every card\letter a student makes, they will receive a treat and their name will go in to win a prize that will be drawn on Feb.14.
